Clever films, from artwork to screen.

Separations and film positives for screen printing, printed straight to your Epson. No Photoshop. On Mac and Windows.

How it works

From artwork to films in four steps

  1. Step 1

    Drop in the artwork

PNG, Photoshop PSD (its spot channels become your films), PDF or Illustrator AI with spot colours.

  2. Step 2

    Separate into your inks

Automatic ink count or your own spot inks by name, white underbase with choke for dark shirts, and trapping.

  3. Step 3

    Halftone and lay out

Line screen (LPI) and angle per ink, registration marks, a label on every film, mirrored when you need it.

  4. Step 4

    Print or export

Straight to your converted Epson with every channel printing black, or one PDF/PNG per ink at exact scale.

Why shops will like it

Seps and films in one app

No Photoshop

Separations happen in Zorofilm itself. No plug-in, no actions, no Adobe subscription.

Prints to your Epson directly

Zorofilm drives the printer itself and lays every channel down in black for dense, sharp films. No extra RIP.

Mac and Windows

The same app on both, and both print directly.

Your artwork stays yours

Files are processed on your computer. They are never shared or used for training.

Questions

Straight answers

Do I need Photoshop or Illustrator?

No. Zorofilm reads your PNG, PSD, PDF or AI file and makes the separations and the halftoned films itself.

Which printers does it support?

The first is the Epson EcoTank ET-8550 (sold as the L8180 in Europe), converted to black ink. Next: ET-8500 / L8160, L1800, L805, Artisan 1430, SureColor P700 and P900. Each model is listed as supported only after it has printed real films.

Is my artwork used for anything?

No. Customer artwork is processed on your computer, never shared, never reused and never used to train anything.
